Fine Green Pakistani Nephrite Bangle, Natural Type A
One of the stronger stones in the collection: a clean, well-saturated green carried evenly around the whole ring, with a high polish and visible natural character rather than the flat uniformity of treated material. Carved from a single piece, seamless, with no metal anywhere in the bangle.

About Pakistani nephrite
Quarried in northern Pakistan, where the mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan hold some of the world's finest modern nephrite. The deposits worked around Shangla and the Swat-Kohistan belt yield a dense, fine-grained stone in deep spinach-to-forest greens, still recovered in small quantities and finished largely by hand.
- Nephrite, not jadeite. The two stones are both called jade, but nephrite is the tougher of the pair, with a softer and more oily luster.
- Toughness. Its interlocking fibrous structure makes it the most durable of the jades, built for daily wear.
- Type A, guaranteed. No dye, no polymer impregnation, no bleaching. Natural color, cut and polished only.
Each piece is one of a kind, so color and translucency vary slightly from the photos.
