Warm Olive Green Pakistani Nephrite Bangle, Natural Type A
A warmer, slightly olive-leaning green that shifts as you turn it in the light, picking up gold where the polish catches. Cut from a single continuous piece of stone with a smooth rounded profile, so it slips on easily and wears flat against the wrist all day.
Measurements
- Inner diameter: 65.75 mm
- Width: 12.96 mm
- Thickness: 8 mm
Bangles are sized by inner diameter. Measure across the widest part of your hand with the thumb tucked in, and compare that to the diameter above to check the fit.
About Pakistani nephrite
Quarried in northern Pakistan, where the mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan hold some of the world's finest modern nephrite. The deposits worked around Shangla and the Swat-Kohistan belt yield a dense, fine-grained stone in deep spinach-to-forest greens, still recovered in small quantities and finished largely by hand.
- Toughness. Nephrite's interlocking fibrous structure makes it the most durable of the jades, built for daily wear.
- Luster. That structure takes the soft, almost oily polish collectors look for.
- Type A, guaranteed. No dye, no polymer impregnation, no bleaching. Natural color, cut and polished only.
Each piece is one of a kind, so color and translucency vary slightly from the photos.
