Deep Green Pakistani Nephrite Bangle, Natural Type A

Saturated deep green running the full circumference, with faint natural banding that shows itself when you hold the bangle up to strong light. Cut from one continuous piece of stone and polished by hand, so there is no seam, no clasp and no metal to tarnish or wear out.

About Pakistani nephrite

Quarried in northern Pakistan, where the mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan hold some of the world's finest modern nephrite. The deposits worked around Shangla and the Swat-Kohistan belt yield a dense, fine-grained stone in deep spinach-to-forest greens, still recovered in small quantities and finished largely by hand.

• Toughness. Nephrite's interlocking fibrous structure makes it the most durable of the jades, built for daily wear.
• Luster. That structure takes the soft, almost oily polish collectors look for.
• Type A, guaranteed. No dye, no polymer impregnation, no bleaching. Natural color, cut and polished only.
